QCRA · Supervised evaluation
Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis under supervised evaluation.
The cost-risk capability is implemented and currently in supervised evaluation while formal validation completes. It is not offered for independent client reliance.

Implemented capability
What can be evaluated under supervision.
- Cost risk register — AACE 41R‑08 aligned. Same input lanes as QSRA: manual, paste, template, importer.
- AACE distributions — Triangular, BetaPERT, Lognormal, Uniform, Discrete, plus engine extensions.
- The internal Monte Carlo engine uses Higham PSD and NORTA correlation handling for cross-check evidence.
- Cost S‑curves and drivers — draft outputs for supervised review.
- Contingency drawdown — track P50 and P80 against actual spend period-on-period, on the same audit chain as the run that set them.
- Boundary — no independent reliance, replacement claim or production use is authorised.
Current boundary
Implemented does not mean released.
| Area | Current public position |
|---|---|
| Capability | Cost-register schema, distributions, internal modelling and draft reporting are implemented. |
| Validation | Formal numerical validation and named independent review remain open. |
| Use | Supervised evaluation; no independent client reliance. |
| System of record | The client's approved external tool remains controlling. |
No migration or replacement claim is made while formal validation continues.
Status
Supervised evaluation.
The cost-risk engine, register schema and reporting layer are present in the product. Outputs remain non-reliance evaluation material while formal validation continues.
Want a seat at the design table?
If QCRA matters to your team, we can record the use case for research and validation planning without implying a release commitment.
Discuss the supervised evaluation boundary.
We can explain what is implemented, what remains unvalidated and what would need to close before any wider offer.
